Softband Fitting Instructions - Cochlear Implant and Hearing Aid

1. Adjust the band to fit comfortably. It should be snug, but not too tight.

2. Position sleeve(s) behind the ear — avoid placing over the adjuster and end seam.

3. Attach your device:

Cochlear Implant: Disconnect the cable from the processor, then slide the processor into the sleeve from back to front.

Hearing Aid: Remove the ear hook, insert the top of the device into the sleeve, then pull the tab at the bottom and gently stretch it over the base.

4. Check the microphone and buttons are clear.

5. Reconnect, place band on head, insert moulds if needed - you’re good to go!
