You'll need one Button Block Connector for unilateral, or two for bilateral.

HOW TO ATTACH THE BUTTON BLOCK CONNECTOR TO A SOFTBAND

Button Block Connectors have a ridge around the circumference, which enables them to fit snuggly into the flexible silicone o-ring of the softbands. Simply apply gentle pressure from your thumbs to push the o-ring into the ridge on the Button Block Connector (scroll through the pics above to see a short instructional video).

AND the best part... the Button Block Connectors are interchangeable between any of the softband prints sold at my online store, giving you a cost-effective way to have many different softband options!

USING A HAT

If you prefer to use a hat, Button Block Connectors work best with cap styles that have an adjustable back.

- Find a hat which fits snugly on head. 

- While wearing the hat, use a marker to mark where you want to cut a hole in the hat, usually just behind the ear. 

- Remove hat from head and cut a 1/2 inch x 1/2 circular hole in the hat. 

- Sew the edges of the hole by hand using only one or two threads. 

- Insert the Button Block Connector into the hole.

- If the hat is a little loose on the head and cannot be adjusted tighter, put a bit of padding into the band on the hat where the hole is NOT going to be cut. As the head grows, remove this padding so the hat is never too tight.
